KB BANK & KB BANK SYARIAH DISTRIBUTE AID TO FLOOD-AFFECTED RESIDENTS IN SUMATERA
Jakarta, December 9, 2025 — PT Bank KB Indonesia (KB Bank), together with KB Bank Syariah, once again demonstrated its commitment to humanitarian solidarity by distributing aid to the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI). This aid also came from independent fundraising conducted by KB Bank Management and Employees. The aid was intended to support the response to the flood disaster that hit several areas in Aceh, North Sumatra, and West Sumatra, which affected thousands of residents and damaged various public facilities.
Ahmad Aidil, Compliance & Risk Director of KB Bank Syariah, added that this assistance was part of the company's humanitarian call. "Solidarity is a value that must be upheld. We are providing this assistance to support accelerated post-disaster recovery and provide a long-term positive impact for residents in affected areas," he said. Suryani Motik, General Treasurer of the PMI Central Board, expressed her appreciation for the contribution and swift response of KB Bank and KB Bank Syariah.
